It’s here! Help us name our new SUPER CUTE female baby Masai giraffe.
In honor of her mother, Imara (meaning “strength” in Swahili), our keepers came up with six awesome Swahili-themed names. And now it is up to the public to vote for their favorite!
Voting will end Sunday, July 29th at midnight and the name will be announced the week of the 30th.
The baby giraffe at the Phoenix Zoo is doing well and is still inside the giraffe barn, under the very watchful eyes of her mother. It will still be a few weeks until the pair are out on the Savanna and visible to the public. Scroll down for the name choices, and how to vote!
