Stunt man Travis Pastrana is on top of the world after paying tribute to Evel Knievel with a special three-jump performance Sunday night in Las Vegas. His final attempt over the Caesar's Palace Fountain was the same jump that nearly killed Knievel back in 1967. Knievel came up short in his attempt and crashed, breaking his left hip, right ankle, both hands and wrists, and crushing his pelvis. He was hospitalized in a coma for almost a month and never attempted the fountain again. Pastrana also pulled off "The Car Jump" and "The Bus Jump" while riding an Indian Scout FTR-750 motorcycle, which is the closest modern bike equivalent to Knievel's. His daredevil tribute to Knievel was broadcast on the History channel.
