Chrissy Teigen addressed blowback she got on Instagram for posing like a ballerina in pointe shoes. In a video on Saturday, the supermodel tried to balance on tip-toe in ballet shoes and then do a twirl with the help of her husband, John Legend. “I have been in love with watching ballet since I was young,” she captioned the clip. “I was given shoes from a performance John planned for me a few years ago. Tonight, I tried them on. IT IS HARD. Shout out to the ballerinas I love, and have loved, so so much.” On social media, critics warned her that she could “break an ankle” attempting to pose like that without proper training. She responded, seemingly exasperated, tweeting: “I get it. I could have broken an ankle. You can stop telling me. If only you knew the other 1000 bone-breaking things I attempt daily.”
