You take care with the way you look at work, right? Nice and clean, proper clothes. But you probably didn't think the way you part your hair could have an influence on your career path. Two SUNY graduates have spent years researching hair part trends, and say, "The way a person parts their hair is related to many subconscious associations when assessed by others. Each hair part initiates cycles of behavior toward and response from the individual." What?? Well, what they basically mean is that since the left part of the brain rules logic, analysis and linear thought, someone who parts their hair on the left side will be seen as someone who is logical, organized and exuding confidence. Those who part their hair on the right are seen as more fun-loving, and reliable, and those who are bald, part their hair down the middle, or have no part at all come off as being more balanced or neutral.
