The March of Dimes literally began with mothers going door to door asking for 10 cent donations to help fight polio. Polio was finally conquered, but the organization continued to serve ... dedicated to fighting for healthy babies everywhere. The annual March for Babies is a great opportunity for people to see the strides that have been made and to see how they can help in this important cause. I recently spoke with Valerie Tichenor from the March of Dimes, and the 16 year old member of this year's ambassador family, Carter Lewis. He was born at 32 weeks, weighing just over 5 pounds, but today he is happy, healthy, and a straight A student. Listen to the interview here and then sign up to join us April 13!
