Each month 99.9 KEZ and our sponsors Taylor Morrison "Homes inspired by you" and the Arizona State Fair present the Excellence in Education award to a deserving teacher nominated by a KEZ listener. The Feb 2019 recipient is Scott Lloyd, who teaches music classes at J.O. Combs Middle School in San Tan Valley, AZ. He was nominated by the mother of one of his students. You can nominate an Excellent teacher at www.kez999.com, keyword "Excellence". Monthly winners get $99 and an "Apple" plaque for their desks. At the end of the year, all teachers are invited to bring a guest and the principal for our year-end luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Gainey Ranch, during which one teacher will be named the Excellent teacher of the year and get $999!
