Ballsfest is a registered 501c3 non-profit that lifts the spirits of children, young adults, and their families affected by cancer. Frank DeBlasi created the organization after surviving a bout with testicular cancer. Originally benefiting a national cancer organization, Ballsfest has been restructured since 2013 to shift focus to local children affected by cancer. The fundraising event 2-6pm March 17 at Mountain Shadows resort places the focus on the kids, known as "Ballers"! I spoke with Frank for our Valley Views program.
