The Fighter Country Partnership and the Foundation Board of Directors have launched a $5.82 million Luke Forward Capital Campaign to support the population of 100,000. Any projects which are not deemed “mission critical” are not be funded, even if this means many of the facilities struggle with unreliable plumbing, electrical problems, old infrastructure, bugs and cramped spaces. The campaign will fund 10 projects (two of which are already completed), such as updates to the Honor Guard Headquarters, Airmen Leadership School, Fire Station and more.
Organizers are in an end of the year push for the last $1.2 million needed to reach their goal.
I spoke with Don Brandt -The Campaign General Chair of the Luke Forward Capital Campaign and President & CEO of Arizona Public Service and Ron Sites- President / Executive Director of Fighter Country Partnership and Fighter Country Foundation for our Valley Views program. They made it clear why this is such an important campaign to support the men and women who are working to protect our country. Included in this post are the interview and photos of some of the work they have been doing at Luke AFB. Find out more at https://fightercountry.org/
