Homeless Youth Connection looking for host families for homeless teens


The kids you see in these photos are teens who have been served by Homeless Youth
Connection, an organization that works with school districts to identify homeless
youth and find ways to support them and hopefully find them host families to get through
this difficult time in their lives.  They are looking for host families and are hosting a
"Taco'Bout It" Tuesday event this Tuesday July 24 at their office in Avondale at 9950 W.
Van Buren, suite 114.  (More of these to follow all around the Valley)
The event is informal with young people who been served by the program, some families
who have hosted young people, and staff.  Have a taco or two and find out about the
program in a relaxed manner.  I spoke with Chance Bogart from HYC about the program
