Questions about the new Travel I.D card? Here are the answers!

service arizona

A federal law passed in 2005 will require more forms of I.D. when traveling
through TSA checkpoints starting in October of 2020.  Arizona is one of 37
states offering an alternate form of driver license that will satisfy the need
with one card.  Travelers without an updated travel I.D. will need three forms
of identification when traveling, or a passport.  Arizona residents wanting to
get the travel I.D. can make an appointment with the Motor Vehicle Department
using ServiceArizona online and bring in three forms of I.D. to get the new
card.  Service Arizona offers lots of services for vehicle owners including
replacement of lost cards, evidence of license fees paid, and more ... including
the new E-Title service.  I spoke with Douglas Nick from ADOT/MVD about all
of this, starting with the new Travel I.D.
