The annual letter carriers' Stamp Out Hunger started in Phoenix and has grown
into a huge national event that brings in much needed food donations to help
food banks get through the most difficult time of the year, summer. I spoke with
Jerry Brown from St Mary's Food Bank about the drive, and about the extra strain
put on food bank resources by the #RedForEd teachers' strike. Jerry also talked
about the year-round need for volunteers to help put food boxes together.
