Phoenix Sister Cities exists to create people-to-people relationships between
the residents of Phoenix and its sister cities through commercial, educational,
cultural and artistic exchange programs and events that create and sustain
global, long-term, international partnerships and business opportunities for
the citizens of Phoenix. On April 26, the Mayor's 5th Annual International
will honor Ennis,Ireland with an evening of Irish cuisine and entertainment.
I spoke with Rita Markow, President/CEO of Phoenix Sister Cities, Anne Thorne,
chair of the event, and Mary Hill - Connor, chair of Ennis Sister Cities for our
Valley Views program.
