ADOT’s Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (June 22-25)
Eastbound I-10 closed between 75th and 51st avenues
Eastbound Interstate 10 closed between 75th and 51st avenues in west Phoenix from 9 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Sunday (June 24) for bridge construction at the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway interchange. Eastbound I-10 on-ramps at 91st and 83rd avenues also closed. DETOUR: Please consider alternate routes, including northbound and eastbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) in the West Valley. Eastbound I-10 traffic exiting at 75th Avenue can detour on eastbound McDowell Road or Van Buren Street and use 51st Avenue to connect with I-10.
Northbound exit to Deer Valley Road from the Loop 101 ramps at the I-17 interchange closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (June 23-24) for city of Phoenix pavement-improvement work on Deer Valley Road. The northbound I-17 on-ramp at Deer Valley Road also will be closed. Expect lane restrictions along Deer Valley Road between 19th Avenue and I-17. DETOUR: Consider using Rose Garden Lane or Pinnacle Park Road as alternate routes.
Lane restrictions scheduled on Happy Valley Road west of I-17 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (June 23-24) for city of Phoenix pavement-improvement work. Expect lane restrictions on Happy Valley Road between 43rd Avenue and the roundabout on the west end of the I-17 interchange. DETOUR: Consider using alternate routes, including Pinnacle Peak Road.
Northbound I-17 frontage road closed between Osborn and Indian School roads from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights, including Friday night (June 22) and continuing until July 6 for roadway improvement work. Access for local traffic will be maintained. DETOUR: Consider using Thomas Road to northbound 19th Avenue and westbound Indian School Road to return to the northbound frontage road.
