It’s certainly been very hot in most of the country the past few weeks and there’s no better way to escape the heat and humidity than a dip in the pool. Unfortunately in some areas of the country, backyard pools aren’t common, or even feasible.
- Well, a new report by the lawn care company LawnStarter reveals the best U.S. Cities to Own A Pool.
- They looked at around 200 of the largest U.S. cities to find which ones are most “pool-ready,” based on climate, yard size, costs, access to pool installation and maintenance.

- Not surprising, topping the list is a year-round warm weather city, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, with an overall score of 65.32, landing at four for pool-readiness and six for climate.
