Most say the experience was positive and 12% have ended up in a relationship with someone they met online, but not everyone has been so lucky. To help us avoid becoming one of them, Best Life did the research to figure out the worst dating app out there.
To determine which dating apps to avoid, they started by comparing four lists of the best dating apps and sites for 2021 from CNET, PC Mag, Mashable and Digital Trends. From there, they looked at each app’s overall customer rating on the Apple and Google Play stores. Best Life then gave each metric a value and used their algorithm to come up with their Dating App Disaster Index, a 100-point scale, where 0 is the best dating app and 100 is the worst.
And based on all that, the most hated is EliteSingles and these are the other ones you won’t want to bother trying.
