I thought I was calling the River Rat Cheese Company in Cape Vincent, N.Y. but it turns out it's really in a small village named Clayton. I spoke with my new friend Mary. She is one of the owners of River Rat cheese. I found out that Clayton is near the Thousand Island Bridge and yes you guessed it... this is the birthplace of Thousand Island Salad Dressing.
