Christmas might be over but some people are not done with their holiday shopping.
Some store owners said they're expecting Dec. 26, 2019, to be the second-busiest shopping day of the year as some people start shopping for next year's Christmas.
The National Retail Foundation said 68 percent of holiday consumers will continue their shopping the week after Christmas.
They said half of those shoppers are taking advantage of post holiday sales, 27 percent are using gift cards and more than half of shoppers will return or exchange holiday gifts.
The National Retail Foundation said shoppers can sometimes find a better deal if they wait until after Christmas, with some stores offering discounts up to 70 percent off.
It's also a good time to stock up on Christmas decor, cards and wrapping paper, which can run up to 80 percent off after Christmas.
