Kevin from Danzeisen Dairy, a locally owned and operated dairy and creamery joined us this morning for Barguments! Kevin brought some Eggnog drinks from the Creamery. The Danzeisen family has been dairy farming in Arizona for over 55 years. The creamery was started just over 5 years ago when Kevin built the creamery to sell their milk in signature, glass, recyclable bottles. They bottle the milk the old fashioned way using equipment from the 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s which is why their milk tastes so fresh and pure – just the way milk is supposed to taste. Today, you can find all of Danzeisen’s signature flavors in your local grocers across Arizona: whole, 2%, 1%, Skim, Chocolate (a favorite of the local pro sports teams), Arizona Orange, Strawberry, Cold Brew Coffee Milk, Root Beer. Danzeisen now bottles fresh Orange Juice (just oranges), Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade (made with Sedona spring water) and new – Cold Brew Coffee.
It's a family affair at the Creamery – Kevin’s parents, Clayton and Gail along with his brother Brett, all help run the day to day business. You can go directly to the Creamery in Laveen to purchase any of Danzeisen Dairy’s products and gifts. We also offer butter making classes and a tour of the creamery in the spring.
