Julian Wright, owner and founder of Pedal Haus Brewery ( 730 S. Mill Ave, Tempe ) and Operations Manager Chris Purcell joined Beth and Friends for some refreshing cold beers on Barguments.
Pedal Haus is a downtown Tempe brewery and beer garden offering a variety of award-winning, rotating beers on tap as well as a full menu with items like the green chile burger, thai peanut steak salad and chicken pot pie. During its fourth year participating in the Los Angeles International Beer Competition, the brewery ranked in the top three of four beer categories, earning two silver medals for its Rauchbier Märzen and Day Drinker Light Lager as well as two bronze medals for its Tmave Pivo and Bière Blanche. At the International Beer Awards Excellence in Brewing competition, Pedal Haus received a silver medal for its Bière Blanche and a bronze medal for its Rauchbier Märzen. The restaurant will roll out a new menu with 18 vegan and 16 gluten-free options in August. Pedal Haus is currently renovating the space to expand private dining space and the brewery. The brewery will remain open throughout the summer and unveil the changes at the beginning of August.
The restaurant and brewery is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.
