Today, Meghan Markle finally announced her 4 Royal Patronages according to the Kensington Palace's Instagram and Cosmopolitan magazine.
What is a Royal Patronage you ask?
"Fount of honour, a representative of a sovereign or formerly sovereign entity who, by virtue of his or her official position, has the exclusive prerogative of conferring legitimate titles of nobility and orders of chivalry to other persons."
In English - it is basically Royal duties or Royal held positions that contribute to things that are close to their passions which if you know Meghan Markle, you know that she has a few things she feels strong about.
"Issues with which she has long been associated including the arts, access to education, support for women and animal welfare."
Here they are:
1. National Theatre - power of the arts (hence the fact Markle used to be an actress!)
2. Association Of Commonwealth Universities - "accessible education"
3. Smart Works - works with unemployed women to help them get back in the workforce
4. Mayhew - this is an animal organization
