The site just revealed the national and local winners of their 2018 Neighborly Award, highlighting locations in a variety of categories, including overall friendliest neighbors, dog-friendliest, most holiday spirit, best social calendar, most walkable, and kid-friendliest.
The overall Friendliest Neighborhood is actually Trestle Glen, in Oakland, California, where, according to the site’s survey, 97% of participating locals report that they say "hi" to their neighbors, with many saying it’s “hard to believe just how friendly the neighbors are.
