Hi All! Thought this would be fun! BLIND BAKING!!
So many people send me food viral videos and ask me if the recipe really works. So, I started testing some of the ones that get millions of views.
A LOT of the time, they've left something important out so the recipe may not be a success.
This FAB or FAIL recipe is two containers of cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling. So easy, but they left out a BIG step--blind bake the bottom crust!
Correcting that step, it was a big FAB!!
Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie
2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls
2 cans apple pie filling
CINNAMON ROLL APPLE PIE-
Step #1 Place first layer of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough on bottom of pie dish
Step #2 Blind Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown
Step #3 Pour Apple Pie Filling (2 cans) over top of baked cinnamon rolls
Step# 4 Roll out second can of cinnamon rolls thin with rolling pin using parchment on top and bottom
Step #5 Place over top of apples like a pie crust
Step #6 Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Step #7 Drizzle with icing from the can of cinnamon rolls
TIP! There's a new apple variety on the market--much like the Honey Crisp. It's called the ENVY and it's AMAZINGLY SWEET!
