Phoenix ranks as the 13th best city in the country and the top city in Arizona, according to a consulting firm’s annual study.
“Latin soul, daring architecture and a reverence for the outdoors blends a heady mix in the heart of the American Southwest,” says the study.
The 2020 study praises Phoenix for its:
- A thriving desert metropolis, Phoenix offers some of the best Mexican food
this side of the border, a number of fine museums, a vibrant artist community
and 300 days of sunshine.
- The city ranks #12 in the country in their Sights and Landmarks category.
- Summit trails are not for the faint of heart, especially in 100-degree heat, but the base of Camelback Mountain offers easier and equally beautiful trails for beginners.
- Phoenix ranks #13 in the nation for its Parks & Outdoors.
