Gila River Casinos Have Reopened After Two Weeks With New Safety Measures

After shutting down their properties due to COVID-19 concerns, Gila River Hotels & Casinos has reopened Wild Horse Pass, Lone Butte, and Vee Quiva as of Thursday afternoon.

They have announced new health and safety protocols. According to their social media post, those now include:

  • Non-smoking casino floors
  • Mandatory masks
  • Guest temperature checks at controlled limited entrances
  • Reduced occupancy of 50% at each property
  • Daily closures from 2AM-10AM for cleaning
  • Self-serve sanitation stations with wipes and sanitizers placed abundantly about
  • Cleaning Ambassadors Program which includes an alert system that dispatches Cleaning Ambassador Team for instant cleaning
