Dan + Shay Give Fans A Look Inside Their 'Not-So-Luxurious' Studio

Dan + Shay is giving fans a look inside the studio where their hit songs are made.

"Here we are in my kind of not-so-luxurious studio, recording a song today called '10,000 Hours,'" the duo's Dan Smyers explained in the clip shared on Instagram.

"To know that a song came from a place like this, that we sang in a corner right there is pretty awesome," Shay Mooney adds. "Especially when we got Justin Bieber on it. Makes us feel a lot cooler."

Bieber joined the duo on the romantic track "10,000 Hours" which was released in October. The song was inspired by Smyers, Mooney and Bieber's marriages, as they sing about spending their lives with their significant other. In the chorus, the guys sing, "If it's 10,000 hours or the rest of my life/ I'm gonna love you."

"'10,000 Hours' is about spending a lifetime learning and loving your significant other," Smyers explains. "This song is extra special to Shay and I because we wrote it about our beautiful wives, Abby and Hannah. And it was fun to collaborate with our good buddy Justin Bieber on this because he’s in the same boat and just married his wife Hailey. This is one of our favorite songs we’ve ever written and hopefully it resonates with our fans as much as it does with us."

Dan + Shay will likely bring "10,000 Hours" to live shows a part of their upcoming headlining arena tour, "Dan + Shay The (Arena) Tour." The 35+ date tour is set to kick off on March 6, 2020 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and will run through October 31 2020 at Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA.

Tickets to the tour are available now. See a full list of cities and dates here.
