Majority of Americans put on this type of music to get in the cleaning mood

“Uptown Funk,” “Read All About It” and “Work” are three of the songs on America’s cleaning playlist, according to new research.

A survey of 2,000 Americans found that 66 percent listen to music while they clean – with top genres found to be hip-hop/rap (58 percent), blues (51 percent) and rock (47 percent).

Of those, 72 percent have a go-to song to blast while they tidy up their home.
