Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow are super friendly exes. Despite calling it quits after 10 years of marriage and two kids back in 2014, there's no bad blood between Paltrow and Martin. In fact, they managed to stay so close that Martin actually went on his ex-wife's honeymoon with her new husband, Brad Falchuk, over the holidays. Three definitely isn't a crowd for this modern family.
While chatting with the hilarious mother-daughter-duo Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Paltrow revealed that her honeymoon wasn't just a newlywed getaway. "It was my new husband and myself. His two children and my two children, a family that we travel with a lot and their five children – and then, my ex husband," she explained with a laugh.
When a photo from Paltrow's Instagram popped up, showing Martin and Falchuk sitting side by side, Paltrow joked: "Yup, that’s my two husbands. They’re friends."
Paltrow also spoke about Martin's presence on her honeymoon during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan, describing the trip as "very modern."
"Family structure can be reinvented and divorce doesn't have to be devastating," Paltrow told Evening Standard recently of her close relationship with Martin. "It doesn’t have to be the end of your relationship with somebody."
"I think Chris and I were meant to be together and have our kids," Paltrow continued. "But our relationship is much better like this: friends and co-parents and family."
What do you think about Paltrow's "modern" honeymoon?
