Scottsdale Has Highest Life Expectancy In The Valley According To New Study

How long you live may be based on your zip code!

New data from Virginia Commonwealth University and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation show the Valley's highest life expectancy goes to 85258 in Scottsdale with 85 years. The lowest is 71 years in 85004, which includes South Phoenix.

According to a recent ABC 15 article:

Things like air quality, access to freeways, even distance to grocery stores could influence the outcome of your life.

"In a place like north Scottsdale, you've got three grocery stores within 0.8 miles of a home. And in south Phoenix, you do not."
