J. Lo, A-Rod & Marc Anthony-Hosted Concert Raises $35M For Hurricane Relief

All the effort put into Saturday's (October 14) "One Voice: Somos Live! A Concert for Disaster Relief," which was hosted by Jennifer Lopez, her current boyfriend Alex Rodriguez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony, was worth the work as the event raised more than $35 million for hurricane relief.

On Tuesday, a spokeswoman made the announcement, revealing that the total funds were comprised of money in donations, pledges, and the trio's very own contributions. While about $9 million was raised during the benefit show, additional funds came pouring in since the telecast, which included performances from the likes of Lopez, Anthony, Daddy Yankee, MAGIC!, Alejandro Sanz, Camila, Gente De Zona, DJ Khaled, Prince Royce, Romeo Santos and many more.

"With the disasters and tragedies befalling us almost weekly, and the swirling negativity dividing our country, it was gratifying to see people of all ages, races and background come together to support and help those in need," Lopez said in a statement. "Alex [Rodriguez] and I were amazed by the amount of love, unity and donations that were received."

"And I am personally overcome with gratitude for all the incredible artists and talent who showed up in both Los Angeles and Miami to perform, answer phones or lend their services," she added. "While there is still much to do, we are deeply grateful for all that's been done. We are, and will continue to be, one voice."
