97-Year-Old Dunkirk Survivor

97-Year-Old Canadian Veteran, Ken Sturdy, was a survivor of the Battle of Dunkirk. Sturdy was serving in the Royal Navy at the age of 20 when the battle took place. He helped stranger soldiers get away from the advancing German army.

On Sunday, Sturdy relived the events that took place that day as he watched Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk.” Here’s a clip of Sturdy’s comments about the movie and how it brought him back to the battle.
