Simon Cowell released a star-studded charity single yesterday, aimed at raising money for the victims of the Grenfell Tower disaster in London, which killed 79 people.
The song is a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Waters," and opens with a rap by Grime star Stormzy, and features singing from One Direction's Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, Rita Ora, Jessie J, Robbie Williams, The Who's Pete Townshend and many others.
All in all, 50 artists took part in the recording of the song, with proceeds from its sale going to the London Community Foundation. In addition, if folks want to donate money to help the victims, they can do so HERE.
As you can imagine, fans quickly ran to iTunes to purchase the song and help out the victims. The song immediately shot up to number one on iTunes in the UK.
