Eating with your hands isn't anything new, but have you ever been served a dish on the back of your hand? Diners at the recently opened restaurant Brown and Bean in Plymouth, England who order the nine-course tasting menu can enjoy the apple and pork starter that way.
Chef Anton Piotrowski actually skips the plates and dishes out the sauce, apples and pork on the bare hand of his guests. The rest of the meal is served on regular plates, but this unique starter presentation from the former "Masterchef UK" winner is getting a lot of attention, which is no surprise because it's actually spooned onto your hand.
"I'm not following anyone's trends, I'm not copying anyone else's dishes," Chef Piotrowski said. "I am doing my own food."
