UPDATE: LISETTE HAS BEEN ADOPTED! :)
Meet Lisette.
Lisette is a six-year-old bulldog mix waiting for her fur-ever home at the Arizona Animal Welfare League. And she's just waiting to trust you so she can break out of her shell. You see, Lisette has been adopted before in 2020 and due to life's unforeseen circumstances, was returned to the shelter a month ago. It's almost as if she's worried if she looks at you, she'll love you. Then she'll have her heart broken again. But her eyes tell a story of wanting a home. Wanting love. Wanting stability. She's got a lot of life left to live and a lot of love to give to the right family. She'd do great with older kiddos and would even likely do great with a doggy brother or sister as long as she can meet them first. I see Lisette as being the most beautiful before and after story. Shy now, but zoomies of happiness once she finds that perfect forever home. Please share so we can get this girl out of the shelter. Her adoption fees are waived through Saturday, June 18th - as are all senior dogs at AAWL!
