If Amazon has their way, you may never need to shop anywhere else ever again...for anything. The latest proof? The company has just launched the private-label food line, Aplenty. Just like the generic store brands you find just about everywhere, Amazon is promising a wide range of “rigorously tase-tested” products. And yes, they’ll be available online and in-store (at Amazon Fresh). As for how confident they are you’ll dig it, Amazon is even guaranteeing a refund if you’re not satisfied. Current products include snacks such as pita chips, cookies and condiments, but within the next year the plan is to introduce hundreds of productsincluding:
- Cookies and crackers
- Frozen foods
- Confections
- Salty snacks
- Other condiments and sauces
- Seasonings
- Baking mixes
- Other pantry staples
Don’t forget, after acquiring Whole Foods in 2017, Amazon openedAmazon Go Grocerycheckout-free grocery stores and launched the Amazon Fresh delivery service (which delivers vegetables, raw meat and other groceries to its Prime members).
