2 hikers bitten by rattlesnakes in separate incidents on Scottsdale hiking trails
Valley residents and tourists alike, watch where you step! Two people have been bitten by rattlesnakes while hiking on Valley trails in just the last week.
If you see a snake, avoid it, warn other hikers or tell them if it's under a rock or off the trail.
While snakes usually like warmer weather, they live in the desert year-round, so exercise extreme caution.
Just be careful where you step and if you decide to stay and hang out for a while on a trail thoroughly check the area before you sit down.
