Christmas time is usually a busy one for Mariah Carey who’s chart-topping holiday song, “All I Want For Christmas,” is the catalyst for many live performances and holiday specials.
However, Carey says she does take time out to relax during the holidays by stepping into her kitchen to cook. In a recent GQ interview, Carey says she loves to cook and usually does so in the days leading up to Christmas.
On Christmas Eve, Mariah cooks one of her favorite recipes that her father made while he was living and although Mariah kept quiet on specifics we'll hopefully get a peek at Mariah's favorite meals in the future.
“One day I’m going to put out a Christmas cookbook,” says Mariah, “People don’t believe that I cook, by the way. They think that I’m lying.”
