If you enjoy hummus, you might want to check the brand that you're eating. Pita Pal has recalled over 90 products over a concern that they might be contaminated with Listeria.
If Pita Pal is your brand of hummus, the recalled products were made between May 30th and June 25th. You might want to take a look in your fridge and check the dates on whatever hummus product you have in there.
Keep in mind that this is a voluntary recall. No bacteria was actually found in the finished products and there have been no reported illnesses associated with the actual products. For your safety though, signs of Listeria include fever, headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
If you have any Pita Pal products at home you can return them to the store you bought them for a full refund.
