Join the Vista Corps and spend a year doing something meaningful!

The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits is looking to fill open positions in its AmeriCorps VISTA Program in Cottonwood, Globe, Miami, Phoenix, Sedona, Show Low and Willcox.

“The Alliance’s AmeriCorp VISTA program is a tremendous opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community,” said Program Manager Robin Hanson.  “Whether it's a student taking a year off after college to explore opportunities or someone who is retired or semi-retired looking to stay active and involved and give something back, this can be a wonderful experience.”

Alliance AmeriCorps VISTA members make a year-long, full-time commitment to serve on a specific project or public agency to bring individuals out of poverty by building the organizational, administrative and financial capacity of the organizations, primarily in under-served rural communities.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with a community college or four-year college degree, pass a national criminal history background check or hold one of the following citizenship statuses: US citizen, US National, Lawful Permanent Resident Aliens and persons residing in a state that have the following legal residency classifications: refugee, asylum or asylee, temporary protected status, or deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) status.
