Family Promise of Greater Phoenix is a unique interfaith program that serves homeless families, most of whom are single mothers with young children, in a unique way with Valley congregations providing evening meals and overnight shelter for a few families one week at a time, three weeks a year. The families return to Family Promise during the day for counseling, child care, training etc. I spoke with Executive Director Ted Taylor for our iHeartMedia Valley Views public affairs program.
