According to Forbes.com, "Walmart will offer all full-time, part-time and salaried Walmart U.S store, supply chain and home office and Sam's Club associates an opportunity to attend college for only $1 a day for the duration of their college program."
This will also include fees and books.
University of Florida in Gainesville (Florida), Brandman University (California) and Bellevue University (Nebraska) are the three non-profit companies that have partnered with Walmart to get this program running.
Every Walmart employee is able to apply once they have worked for the company for at least 90 days. If an employee leaves before they finish their degree they do not owe any debt to Walmart.
"Currently, Walmart will only cover associates and bachelor's degrees in business and supply chain management...." according to Forbes.com.
