Wine Tasting Notes The Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is nearly opaque garnet in color with aromas of plum reduction, chocolate truffles and mint root, it has flavor of vanilla bean, sassafras, Kenyan coffee and Bing cherry. On the palate, it is succulent with powdered cacao tannins. and a savory finish reminiscent of a Serrano ham.
